little Viking comes with some “history!”
About
40 years ago I did the craft show circuit selling “dough art”
(made with real flour and salt dough!) Ended up sketching some of my
best sellers, adding step-by-step instructions, and putting them all
into a “how to make dough art guide” that I sold through
the mail. (Which is a whole adventure in itself… sadly an adventure
in learning about placing ads in craft magazines… not about making
any money from it! )
A
few years later a friend who owned a little Mom & Pop stamping
business with her husband in South Dakota asked if she could use some
of my sketches to make rubber stamps. This little guy was one of her
best sellers! (Of course, it might be because there are lots of MN
Vikings fans in the Midwest, where they mainly did craft shows!) I’m
pretty sure their business closed down years ago… otherwise the
owners are now both at or over 100 years old! However, still have one
of dough craft books, so if you are interested, “there are more
where this guy came from!” I would love to see them enjoyed
by other crafters.

The rules are very simple:
Join the challenge, send us an email and then enter a project made with the image supplied before 6:00 pm Outlawz Time on the last day of the month and you will automatically get the next image. If for any reason you don’t get your project made and you would like to rejoin us, contact us and we will let you know how to jump back in. And as long as you enter before the end of the month you will get the next one free and you will then get them automatically each month you enter a project.
When you have made your project, please post it in our November Challenge page (this discussion) and enter it into the gallery. And don't forget to enter your project in the
main blog Inlinkz to be entered into the draw for the site wide prizes from our other wonderful sponsors – check out the side bar for this month’s prizes! And we would love to see your creations on our Facebook page
